Rudra whitepaper(living document)
Version 0.4, September 24, 2026. A practical product whitepaper describing the system currently delivered on Rudra.exchange.
Mission
Rudra.exchange is a non-custodial Stellar trading interface focused on direct on-chain market access: fast, honest market data and trades that you sign yourself.
What is live today
Exchange: an order-book trading terminal with charts, limited to assets verified by Rudra.
Swap: Stellar path payments between any two listed assets, with a minimum-received limit.
Assets: a curated catalog of tens of thousands of tokens from more than 260 issuer domains, with trustline management.
Policy library: Terms, Privacy, Compliance Hub, Risk Disclosure, Listing Policy, Transparency and Security.
Architecture overview
Web client: a React interface that builds transactions in the browser for the user to sign.
Network access: Stellar Horizon for balances, order books, trades and transaction submission.
Edge layer: Cloudflare functions that cache and compress market data and serve the asset catalog from a database.
Asset metadata: issuer stellar.toml files, with every listed asset checked against the Stellar network.
Execution model: user-signed transactions with self-custody wallet control.
RUDRA token role
RUDRA is a utility token for ecosystem access and protocol-level functionality across Rudra products on Stellar.
Current tokenomics details are maintained on the dedicated Tokenomics page.
Security and trust assumptions
Rudra.exchange is non-custodial; keys and signing stay with users.
Settlement finality depends on the Stellar network and on users signing what they intend.
Issuer-published metadata may be incomplete, stale or malicious.
Users must verify asset codes, issuer accounts and home domains before trading.
Compliance posture
Rudra maintains explicit legal/compliance pages and market-risk disclosures for Stellar. For current policy language, see Compliance Hub, Terms of Use, and Privacy Policy.
