In short
Trading digital assets can lose you part or all of your money. Transactions on Stellar are generally irreversible, most listed tokens have not been reviewed by Rudra, and prices shown are estimates. Only trade what you can afford to lose.
Market and volatility risk
Token prices can move quickly because of thin liquidity, concentrated holdings, news or market sentiment. Past performance does not indicate future results, and no order type protects you from losses.
Liquidity, slippage and swap routing
Many Stellar assets have little or no trading activity. A quoted price may come from a single offer, and a large order can move the price sharply.
- Swaps are Stellar path payments that can route through several order books and liquidity pools. The final amount is set when the transaction settles.
- Your slippage tolerance sets the minimum you accept. If the market moves beyond it, the swap fails instead of filling at a worse price.
- Orders on the order book may fill partly, late or not at all.
Prices, values and estimates
Dollar values, price impact, volumes and charts are estimates built from market data that can be delayed, incomplete or manipulated. Always check the amounts shown in your wallet before you sign, and do not rely on a single figure to make a decision.
Issuer and redemption risk
Every asset except XLM is issued by an account that controls it. Its value depends on the issuer's behavior, reserves and redemption terms, which can change or fail.
- Issuers can enable flags that let them freeze an account's holdings or claw tokens back.
- Anyone can issue a token with any code, including a copy of a well-known name. Check the issuer account and its home domain, not just the code.
- Most assets listed on Rudra are community listings that Rudra has not reviewed. See the Listing Policy.
Network, fees and account reserves
- Confirmed transactions are generally irreversible. Network congestion, fee spikes, protocol upgrades or outages of public infrastructure can delay or fail a transaction.
- Stellar accounts must hold a minimum XLM balance. Each trustline and each open offer locks an extra base reserve that you cannot spend until it is removed.
- Every transaction pays a network fee in XLM, even if it fails.
Wallet and key risk
You alone control your secret key or recovery phrase, and nobody, including Rudra, can recover them. Phishing sites, malware, compromised devices and signing the wrong transaction can cause permanent loss. The Security page explains how to protect yourself.
Software and infrastructure risk
Rudra, the wallets you connect and the services it relies on can contain bugs, be unavailable or be compromised. Features may change, be paused or be removed without notice.
Regulatory and legal risk
Digital asset laws differ between countries and change quickly. Your access to assets, to this interface or to the infrastructure behind it may be restricted without notice, and tax rules may apply to your activity.
RUDRA token
RUDRA is a utility token for access to the Rudra ecosystem and its features. It does not represent ownership, equity or a claim on profits, and it is not a security, investment contract or financial instrument. Its market price can fall to zero. See Tokenomics.
No advice or endorsement
Rudra does not provide financial, investment, legal or tax advice, and it does not endorse, guarantee or verify assets issued on Stellar. You are solely responsible for your own research and decisions.
